In a boon for the local solar industry, a team of researchers from Swinburne University of Technology and Suntech Power Holdings have developed the world’s most efficient broadband nanoplasmonic solar cells.
Construction has commenced on the 10 MW Greenough River Solar Farm, located 50 km south of Geraldton in Western Australia. Once completed, the solar farm will be the first utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) project in Australia.
